Abstract

The presenter, Shirley Mitchell, RN MSN, president of Shirley’s Enterprises, will share methods to gain and hold an audience’s attention while presenting information in an organized effective manner. This presentation, designed for nurses in all areas and for all levels of nursing, will show how to prepare and present any topic to small or large audiences with or without PowerPoint.

Biography

Shirley MitchellShirley Mitchell has been president of her own small business, Shirley’s Enterprises, for twenty years. She is the author of How to Write for Speaking for Nurses and chapter 26 in Nurse Entrepreneurs, Fourth Edition, published by the National Nurses in Business Association. She is a distinguished toastmaster. She has presented workshops for several groups including the teachers and administrators of Detroit Public Schools.
