Abstract
The session is directed to nurses who are interested in learning more about marketing their businesses. From trade shows to mailings, from cold calls to client relationship building, this session will cover strategies for marketing a small business.
Biography
Patricia Iyer, MSN RN LNCC, is president of an independent legal nurse consulting firm, Med League Support Services with a national client base. Within the legal nurse consulting and attorney professions, Iyer is best known for her textbooks on nursing malpractice, nursing home negligence, medical records, pain and suffering, and other topics. She was the chief editor of the second edition of Principles and Practices of Legal Nurse Consulting, the core curriculum for legal nurse consultants, and for the online legal nurse consulting course offered by the American Association of Legal Nurse Consulting (AALNC). She served on the board of directors of AALNC for 5 years, including a term as president.
